Looking for handyman help at the office?

Prepare before you start

Check that all parts and screws are there — compare with the instructions
Clear a floor area at least as large as the wardrobe lying down
Measure the ceiling height: the wardrobe needs more height while being raised than when standing
Put a blanket or cardboard underneath so the floor and parts don't get scratched

How the assembly goes

Build the frame lying on the floor, back side up
Be two when raising the wardrobe — it's heavy and awkward
Fix the wardrobe to the wall so it can't tip over
Hang the doors and fit the drawers last, and adjust the hinges until the doors line up

Always fix the wardrobe to the wall

A tall wardrobe can tip over if someone climbs it or pulls a drawer. Fix it to the wall with the anti-tip fitting that comes with it. Which screws and plugs you need depends on the wall — concrete and plasterboard need different ones.

Do you assemble PAX wardrobes?

Yes. We assemble PAX and wardrobes from every other brand, including shelves and interior fittings.

Does the wardrobe have to be fixed to the wall?

Yes, a tall wardrobe should always be fixed to the wall so it can't tip over. Mention it in the booking and we'll do it in the same visit.

Can you buy the wardrobe for me?

We're happy to help, for example at IKEA. The goods are added to the price.

What does wardrobe assembly cost?

From SEK 998 after the RUT deduction. The price is based on how long the job is estimated to take, and you see it right away when you book a handyman.
