Looking for office moving?

1–2 months before the move

  • Set the moving date and book movers — month-ends fill up first
  • Give notice on your current home — check the notice period in your contract
  • Declutter: sell, donate or throw away what you don't want to bring
  • Decide whether you want help with packing, move-out cleaning or storage
  • Book move-out cleaning for the day after the move — or the same day

2–4 weeks before

  • Register your move with the Swedish Tax Agency — you can do it in advance
  • Order mail forwarding
  • Move or cancel your electricity contract, broadband and home insurance
  • Tell your employer, school and others who don't get your new address automatically
  • Get moving boxes — count on roughly one box per square metre
  • Start packing things you rarely use
  • Measure large furniture against doors and lifts in the new home

The week before

  • Finish packing and label boxes with room and contents
  • Check parking and loading spots at both addresses
  • Book the lift with the housing association if needed
  • Take down pictures, shelves and lamps — fixed lighting may need an electrician
  • Get rid of bulky and hazardous waste
  • Arrange a babysitter or pet sitter for moving day

The day before

  • Defrost the fridge and freezer
  • Pack a bag with what you need the first night: chargers, medicine, toiletries, clothes
  • Have door codes, keys and contact details ready
  • Pull out appliances if the move-out cleaning should reach behind them

On moving day

  • Be there — or make sure someone else can answer questions
  • Show the movers what goes and what stays
  • Walk through every room, storage room and attic before the truck leaves
  • Read the electricity meter in both the old and new home

After the move

  • Approve the move-out cleaning — complaints are made within 48 hours
  • Hand in the keys to the old home
  • Unpack the kitchen and bedroom first
  • Moving boxes borrowed from Pandy are picked up about 14 days after the move
  • Check that your mail arrives at the new address

Common questions before the move

How far in advance should I book movers?

Preferably one to two months ahead, especially around a month-end — that's when demand is highest. Fill in the form and we'll get back to you with a free quote.

How many moving boxes do I need?

Count on about one moving box per square metre. It may sound like a lot — but you'll use them. With too few boxes you risk overpacking and damaging the contents.

Can I borrow moving boxes from you?

Yes. Talk to us when you book the move, and we deliver the boxes and pick them up about 14 days after the move. If you want to keep some, you can buy them.

When should the move-out cleaning be done?

When the home is empty — move-out cleaning is only done in empty homes. Many book it on moving day or the day after. As the customer you approve the result, and complaints are made within 48 hours.

Insurance and guarantees

Liability insurance: Should an accident happen, we always make sure to have insurance that covers any damage that occurs. All our employees are of course fully insured as well.

Satisfaction guarantee: We are so confident that our customers will be happy that we offer a guarantee. Within 24 hours of the completed job, the customer can report any issues, which we fix at no extra cost. Photo documentation is extremely helpful in damage and warranty matters.

How late can I cancel or reschedule?

Cancellations and rescheduling of a move must be made no later than 48 hours before the booked time for a full refund. To reschedule or cancel: call or email customer service
