When should you book movers?
The moving date is set — when should you book the movers? Short answer: as early as you can. Here's what's good to know to get the day and time you want.
Book one to two months ahead
The earlier you book, the better your chances of getting exactly the day and time you want. That's especially true around month-ends, when many people move at once. Getting a quote costs nothing and you don't commit to anything, so there's no reason to wait.

If the move came up suddenly, it may still be possible. Fill in the moving help form and we'll get back to you with a free quote as soon as we can.
Pick your day smartly
- Mid-month it's often easier to get the time you want than around month-end
- Public holidays affect the price — check before you lock in the date
- Check when you get access to the new home
- Book move-out cleaning for moving day or the day after
If plans change
Moves can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the booked time for a full refund. Call or email customer service and we'll help you.
Dates don't line up?
If you can't get into the new home the day you leave the old one, your furniture can stay with us in between. With storage we pick up, store safely and deliver again when the new home is ready.
