Storage in Stockholm – how it works and what it costs

Moving but can't get into the new place right away? Renovating, or just need more space? With storage your things can wait somewhere safe — without you driving to a storage facility.

How it works

  1. Describe what you want stored and for how long in the form
  2. Pandy comes to you with the storage unit and packs it
  3. The unit is driven to the secure storage facility
  4. When you need your things, the unit is delivered again

What does storage cost?

You pay per unit and started week. Examples (including VAT):

  • Standard unit (210 × 120 × 190 cm): SEK 272 per week
  • XL unit (250 × 191 × 195 cm): SEK 363 per week
  • Transport there and back per unit: SEK 725 after the RUT deduction

The storage itself doesn't qualify for the RUT deduction, but carrying help, packing and transport do. Read more about RUT.

Safe and insured

The units are kept indoors in a heated, fenced building with camera surveillance and alarm around the clock, plus night patrols. You lock your own unit, so nobody else has access to your things. The base price includes insurance for goods worth up to SEK 10,000 per unit, and you can insure your things further.

No lock-in period

You decide how long you want to store — there's no limit and no lock-in. Common reasons:

  • Between two homes during a move
  • Seasonal storage, such as ski gear over the summer
  • During a renovation
  • Simply short on space

What you can't store

Anything liquid, corrosive, flammable, explosive, toxic, dangerous, irreplaceable or illegal. The list isn't complete — get in touch if you're unsure.
