Hägersten, area by area

• Midsommarkransen

The LM Ericsson factory at Telefonplan was built in 1938–40, and next to it LM-staden went up as a rationalised, series-built run of slim blocks (Stockholmskällan). The buildings are rendered and three storeys high. When you book, tell us which floor you live on in LM-staden and whether the building has a lift.

• Västertorp

Developed in 1949–54, Västertorp was the first place in Sweden to try separating cars from pedestrians. A slab block stands in the centre, with star-shaped blocks by the metro. Because cars and pedestrians are kept apart, tell us when you book how far it is from the van to your entrance.

• Hägerstensåsen

Planned from the late 1930s with slim blocks and a handful of villas; the southern part was built up with low-rise blocks in the late 1940s. Tell us whether you live in a villa or an apartment, and which floor, when you book.

• Fruängen

Built mainly in the late 1950s with slim blocks, point blocks and curved low-rise blocks, with the centre following in the 1960s. Pedestrian tunnels run under the roads, so describe the carrying route from the street to your entrance when you book.
