Södermalm, area by area

• Katarina and Maria

Home to Södermalm's oldest buildings: 18th-century wooden houses on Mäster Mikaels gata, Stigbergsgatan and Åsögatan, in the middle of the 19th-century stone city. If you live in one of the old houses, tell us about the floor, the stairs and the carrying route when you book, and we'll plan the job around the building.

• Högalid and Bergsund

Högalid was built up in the 1910s, with Bergsund following in the 1920s. If you live here, tell us the floor and whether there's a lift when you book, and mention any period features, such as a tiled stove or stucco work, that we should take care with while cleaning.

• Södra station area

These blocks, with about 3,000 apartments, were built on the old goods yard in the 1980s and 90s, and Bofill's arch stands here. Give us the size of your home, which floor it's on and whether there's a lift when you book, so we get the numbers right from the start.

• Sofia and Vita bergen

Much of the older cottage housing in Vita bergen has been a cultural reserve since 1956, and modernisation of the houses began in the 1960s and 70s. If you live in one of the cottages, describe the house and what needs doing when you book.
