Haninge, area by area

• Handen

Handen became the main town in 1934, when the new municipal hall opened, and the first rental blocks went up in the late 1940s. It grew from around 1,300 residents in 1950 to around 30,000 by about 1980, so tell us your floor and whether there's a lift when you book a move or a clean in Handen. The municipal offices are now at Rudsjöterrassen.

• Jordbro

Construction began in 1963 and went on until 1979, mostly apartment blocks of two to three storeys, usually long low-rise blocks. Northern Jordbro is houses — linked, terraced and semi-detached — from the 1980s, so tell us which type you live in when you book. The Jordbro business park is here too.

• Brandbergen

Built as part of the Million Programme in 1969–1976, with taller slab blocks screening the ring road and lower blocks around car-free courtyards inside. The centre and rental blocks were remodelled in 1986–92. Tell us your floor and the distance from your entrance to the van when you book.

• Tungelsta

A garden town from the early 1900s, where Rosgården, the first market garden, started in 1908, and more than a hundred commercial nurseries were set up over the century. After the war mainly detached, terraced and linked houses were built, plus four apartment blocks near the station in 1962–64. Tell us the type of home, floor area and number of floors when you book.
